Position Overview

We are seeking Expert Educators who can serve as subject tutors, SAT/ACT prep tutors, and personal academic coaches for middle school and high school students. In this role, you’ll provide tailored academic support, test preparation, and executive function coaching, while building long-term relationships with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in core math subjects (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, etc.), SAT/ACT prep, and additional subjects as needed (English, science, history, writing, and APs).

• Provide personalized academic coaching, including time management, study skills, and organizational strategies.

• Create customized lesson plans based on each student’s learning style, goals, strengths, and academic requirements.

• Support students with coursework across multiple disciplines.

• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

• Inspire motivation, confidence, and critical thinking in every session.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Ability to tutor high school math, English, and all parts of the SAT and ACT.

• Ability to tutor at least one AP Course, including but not limited to the following: AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science, AP Physics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP US History, AP World History, AP Government, AP Literature, AP Language Arts and Composition, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish or other AP language courses.

• At least 3 years of private tutoring experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for helping students grow both academically and personally.

• Interest in pursuing tutoring beyond the short-term.
